In the book 'Microsoft Windows Networking Essentials Book (ISBN: 978-1-118-01685-5). I see a possible error on page 104. It is in relation to chapter 5 - exploring IPv4,
specifically Table 5.12 (Determining the number of subnets and hosts in a Class C network).
If you select the value intersected by the column headed 'Number of hosts (2h-2) and the row identified as 7.
The value shown is 0 (2yx2-2) Note: this is mathematically incorrect.
It should be 0 (2yx1-2)
