1. Click the Start Menu.
2. Click 'Settings'.
3. Click 'Accounts'.
4. Click 'Sign-in Options'.
5. Under "Require Sign-in" at the top, change the drop-down from "When PC wakes from sleep" to "Never".
This should make it so you're never asked to enter a password to log in. The password, however, will still be used for administrative privileges.

Dear Chyrs, Thank You for your reply. However I tried it as you explained and it still requires me to sign-in at start-up. I'm confused as to why they are adamant about this sign-in password. I am the only one who uses this computer and a password is not needed. Thanks for your help.
