WileyPLUS is designed to only be operational in one window or browser tab at a time. If it believe otherwise, you will receive a session error. Sometimes browser cookies can simulate this, and clearing them completely is the best way to resolve this issue.
That being said, not all browsers are created equal, and you may find running Firefox ( https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ ) or Chrome ( https://www.google.com/chrome/ ) may help you. Also private browsing would eliminate any caching issue you may have.
