I have purchased an ebook but can not download it. I can not download the ADE from your site because it doesn't let me, therefore I can not reach step 2 (download the book itself). I have downloaded the ADE from ADOBE site but still does not help me.

Hi Adar,

Once you've downloaded Adobe Digital Editions you will need to Authorize your machine before downloading the .ascm (ebook) file. To read the same eBooks on additional computers or devices, be sure to authorize each one with the same Adobe ID. You may authorize up to six devices on one account.

1. If you aren't prompted to authorize ADE the first time you open it, you can go to Help > Authorize Computer to start the process manually.
   
   Or, if you're already authorized with an Adobe ID, press Ctrl + Shift + D (or Command + Shift + D on a Mac) on your keyboard and follow the prompts to deauthorize your computer. Select Erase Authorization to remove your Adobe ID, then go to Help > Authorize Computer.
2. In the "Computer Authorization" window, select Adobe ID from the eBook Vendor drop-down menu.
   
3. Enter the email address and password for your Adobe account, then select Authorize.

3. If you don't have an Adobe ID, you can create one on Adobe's website by selecting Get an Adobe ID and filling out their form.
   Once you're done, return to the "Computer Authorization" dialog box and enter your new Adobe ID and password.
4. Click Authorize. Your computer is now authorized with your Adobe ID.

Note: If you choose to authorize your computer without an ID, you will still be able to view eBooks on your computer. However, you will not be able to transfer or download those titles to other devices.
