How do I access, update and print my CFA Study Guide and 11th Hour Guide eBooks?
VitalSource is a private technology company we work with to provide eBooks to customers. At https://support.vitalsource.com you can find reader applications called "Bookshelf" for various platforms and devices:
Your login and password to access your VitalSource eBooks is the same one you set up to log into EfficientLearning.com (if you already had a VitalSource account under a different email address you'll need to log in with the email you used at EfflicientLearning.com). When you created your account and purchases CFA study materials and chose the ebook option, we automatically created an ebook account for you with VitalSource.
TWO VERSIONS OF EACH EBOOK - MOBILE AND PRINT
To address issues around printing from eBooks, after about May 1, 2015 we will provide two eBooks for each book purchased:
- A "Mobile Friendly" version will "reflow" text to fit your screen
- A new "Print Friendly" version will allow you to print a replica of the print book
For existing customers, to receive the new print replica "Print Friendly" file, you will need to update your ebook files as described below.
EBOOK FILE UPDATES
When we update an ebook (either to add new material or fix an issue such as the number of pages you can print) you need to use the "Update Book List" function within the VitalSource application to pull in the new version of the ebook.
